The sense of smell is one of the important means to determine whether food metamorphism, when appeared the following kinds of flavor, means that food is bad, can't eat any.
Clams. Food containing fat more over time, such as oil, pastries, dry salted fish meat, walnut, peanut, melon seeds, etc., can produce a bitter and hemp, acrid taste, people commonly known as "clams taste". This is because the oil is easy to oxidation and rancidity, resulting in clams flavour.
Smell. Fish, pork, eggs, tofu, bean curd cake and other foods rich in protein, the corruption of metamorphism, smell is produced. Protein in under the action of microbes and enzymes, can be decomposed into organic amine, sulfide, skatole and aldehyde material, has a foul taste.
Sour taste. Grain, sugar and its products and other foods rich in carbohydrates, in metamorphic would produce have their respective characteristics of acidity or spoiled. Carbohydrates can produce monosaccharides, disaccharides, decomposition of organic acids, alcohols, aldehydes, so will produce acidity or wine. Sour rice rotted, cakes, fruit rot belong to this kind of bad phenomenon.
Mildew. Food, peanut, bread, cakes, rice, steamed bread and other foods contaminated with mold in warm, moist environment often gone mouldy. Mold may produce toxins, such as we are familiar with aflatoxin.
Have the smell of food is not only bad, bad, eat may cause nausea, vomiting, diarrhea and other digestive symptoms, long-term consumption can also cause cancer.
