A, amino acetic acid (hydroxy acetonitrile method)
(a) for background information. Amino acid (hydroxy acetonitrile method) is the formula for C2H5NO2. The European commission, the United States food and drug administration, such as Japan's health ministry to allow its used as food additives in food.
