December 07, 2016, 1st edition, Chinese journal of traditional Chinese medicine

The delegation held a lecture on traditional Chinese medicine health preservation at the city hall of temser, Belgium, and exchanged views with local scholars on the topic of mutual learning between traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine.

During the activity, wu zhongchao, director physician of the hospital of acupuncture and moxibustion, Chinese academy of traditional Chinese medicine, expounded the health preservation theory of traditional Chinese medicine and the importance of developing healthy living habits, and emphasized the role of acupuncture and moxibustion. The audience not only actively asked questions during the lecture, but also continued to consult the health care knowledge of the present experts of traditional Chinese medicine after the activity. Quan sheng, vice chairman of the all-china federation of overseas Chinese, said the event was a great success and would promote the further attention, understanding and love of TCM among overseas Chinese and even the foreign public.

Belgium is the second stop of the overseas Chinese medical association's "overseas tour of famous TCM doctors". The delegation has held lectures on traditional Chinese medicine in Germany and will go to the Netherlands.
