The Kingston university researchers found that eating dark chocolate can improve the ability of running. Because the cocoa bean is rich in catechin, the material can dilate blood vessels as nitric oxide, increase muscle oxygen, improve the use efficiency of oxygen, resulting in increased fitness.

The researchers chose nine amateur cyclist, looked at their uniform cycling 20 minutes when oxygen consumption, and 2 minutes sprint cycling distance.
