According to jiangxi provincial department of industry and information technology, the signing ceremony of the project of European (Portugal) traditional Chinese medicine cultural experience center was held in Lisbon, capital of Portugal recently. The project agreement was signed by jiangzhong group, jiangxi university of traditional Chinese medicine and china-portugal traditional Chinese medicine center.
According to the agreement, the project aims at inheriting and promoting the traditional Chinese medicine culture, and sets up four blocks, namely exhibition area, experience area, teaching area and diagnosis and treatment area, to comprehensively display the history and development status of traditional Chinese medicine and promote the comprehensive development of traditional Chinese medicine industry, education and research. Next year, on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between China and Portugal, the project will be officially put into operation. At that time, europeans in Lisbon will be able to experience the traditional Chinese medicine diet, traditional Chinese medicine tea and thermal moxibustion and other traditional Chinese medicine treatment.
In 2016, jiangxi university of traditional Chinese medicine, together with Portugal renhetang traditional Chinese medicine co., LTD., established a china-portugal traditional Chinese medicine center in Portugal. On February 9, 2018, Portugal promulgated relevant implementation rules, making TCM the seventh unconventional therapy in Portugal, marking the basic completion of legislation on TCM in Portugal.
