The Inner Mongolia autonomous region has launched a patent pool project for Mongolian medicine, xinhua reported, to make the transfer and transformation of Mongolian medicine patents more orderly. It is understood that this is China's first patent operation pool dedicated to the protection of intellectual property rights for Mongolian medicine industry and patented technology.
The reporter learned from the intellectual property service center of Inner Mongolia autonomous region that the Mongolian medicine patent pool plans to pool the multiple patent achievements of Mongolian medicine patentees in different fields and form an alliance. The patented products among the members of the alliance can be used by mutual authorization or centralized authorization to a third party, which changes the situation that Mongolian pharmaceutical manufacturing enterprises need to ask the patentees in different fields for permission to develop new products.
Experts point out that, over the years, as one of China's four major national medical system of Mongolian medicine knowledge property rights protection situation is worrying, less number of patents, patent protection consciousness is not strong, lack of brand strategic thinking, can only use a universal problem and not understand protection has restricted technical innovation and industrial development of medicine.
At present, there are nearly 600 Mongolian medicine related patents and more than 300 patent applicants in China. The objects that Mongolian medicine can be turned into patent include Mongolian medicinal materials, Mongolian medicine compound preparations and so on.
It is understood that the Mongolian medicine patent pool will fully connect with the national Mongolian medicine research institutions, universities, enterprises and private practitioners, extensively collect Mongolian medicine patents into the pool, sort out, revitalize and optimize high-quality Mongolian medicine technology patents, and provide professional guidance for the intellectual property protection of the technical patents in the pool.
