The promulgation and implementation of the law on traditional Chinese medicine has brought unprecedented opportunities and new flavor to the traditional Chinese medicine industry and practitioners. Over the past year, the law on traditional Chinese medicine and five supporting laws and regulations have been implemented in various regions. At present, a total of 28 provincial legislatures have included regulations on the development of traditional Chinese medicine in their local legislative plans, and 10 provinces have included them in the legislative plans of the provincial people's congress in 2018.
